Book accommodation for student intensives or placements
Deakin offers short-stay accommodation across our campuses for students undertaking placements or intensives. Available year-round, our affordable, fully furnished spaces include 24/7 support, free laundry and access to university facilities.
Off-campus student accommodation
Living off campus is a great way to explore the area. Use Deakin’s online accommodation finder to search for options. Our off-campus housing service can help with rental applications, understanding tenant rights and avoiding scams, and provides referrals to additional support services.
Are you an international student?
If you're an international student, wait until you arrive in Victoria to search for off-campus housing. Book short-term accommodation for your first week, such as hotels, motels, hostels or campus residences. Homestays are also a great option to consider while you settle in.
Are you under-18?
If you're under 18 and can't stay on campus, living with a local family in a homestay is a great way to experience Australian culture and community.
