 F  Campus code for Geelong Waterfront Campus, used for direction of internal mail; however, the letter 'S' is used to denote the Geelong Waterfront Campus in Callista
 Faculty  Branches of a learning at a college or university, for example, the faculty of law
 FAPDC  Faculty Academic Progress and Discipline Committee
 FAS  Faculty Administrative Secretary (HMNBS)
 FBSD  Financial and Business Services Division
 FEE-HELP  Fee-Higher Education Loan Program for domestic fee-paying students
 FEG  Faculty Executive Group
 FEO  Faculty Executive Officer
 FL  Family Leave
 flexible teaching and learning  An approach to education which emphasises variations in the mode, place, time and pace of study; the forms of interaction between and among teachers and learners; and the resources available to support study, communication and assessment
 FMSD  Facilities Management Services Division
 FOA  Faculties and other areas
 FPP  Fee-paying place
 full time student  Uusally a full-time student enrols in units amounting to four credit points in each of two trimesters in an academic year, however enrolment in three or more credit points in a trimester is deemed to be full-time study and meets the requirements of Youth Allowance or Austudy.
 future student  a future or prospective student is someone who is interested in or likely to become a student at Deakin University at a future date
 FYAD  First Year at Deakin - a program designed to help make a students' first year at Deakin a great experience
