Are you an international student who wants to enrol in a Faculty of Business and Law course at Deakin University?

If so, would you like to know what it will be like to study at Deakin University in Australia and what current students think? You can find out what problems they had and how they solved them and view a student made documentary about making friends at Deakin.

The Faculty of Business and Law has developed a CD-ROM that explains what it is like to study at Deakin, what is expected of students and what students can expect from their university.

The international student experience CD-ROM explains:

  • what lecturers expect from students and what they look for when assessing students,
  • teaching methods/styles at Deakin University,
  • how to find accommodation, and
  • living and working in Victoria, Australia.

This CD-ROM has lots of information and advice from Australian and International students.

This CD-ROM is posted directly to the home address of international students who accept an offer into any Faculty of Business and Law course.

The CD-ROM is also available to students considering study in the Faculty of Business and Law. Please email your postal address to: order-cdrom-pack@deakin.edu.au and a pack will be sent to you.
