| Giancarlo Gandolfo is Professor of International Economics at 'La Sapienza', University of Rome and is regarded as one of the top trade theorists in Europe. His areas of research are econometrics, economic dynamics and trade. Professor Gandolfo is Director of the Centro Interdipartmentale Di Economica Internazionale (CIDEI). He has held many distinguished positions including those at the Bank of Italy; University of Siena; Universite de Paris XII; Institute for Advanced Studies, Vienna, and the University of Porto, Portugal. He has published many books and more than a hundred articles in Italian and English journals. He is also on the editorial board of a number of international journals. |
