The CIMA MBA is open to those who have successfully completed all studies required for the CIMA Professional Qualification, possess an undergraduate degree and have at least two years relevant work experience. Approved applicants who have undertaken the CIMA Professional Qualification will receive six units of advanced standing towards the Deakin MBA - and will therefore need to undertake only six units to complete the course.
Those without an undergraduate degree who possess seven years relevant work experience and have obtained the CIMA Professional Qualification may enter a pathway to the MBA via the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration. Via this pathway, they will still need to undertake only six Deakin units to complete an MBA.
