Courses

The Faculty of Business and Law offers a wide range of courses in the fields of business, law, management and information systems. They are relevant responsive and innovative in their content and delivery, providing students with qualifications that are second to none.

The Faculty of Business and Law provides:

Undergraduate courses - for people who do not have a degree (including year 12 school leavers, mature age students and international students).

Honours programs - Honours programs are available in specialist discipline areas to students who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree.

Postgraduate courses - for people with a degree or diploma and who meet special entry requirements of significant work history in relevant discipline area.

Research opportunities - higher degrees by research at master and doctoral level are available in all the discipline areas offered by the Faculty.

Combined courses - that broaden students' options by gaining two qualifications leading to numerous career opportunities.

Hands on experience - offering many opportunities for students to gain workplace and international experience through industry-based learning in the Business Internship Program, study abroad and student exchange programs as well as a range of overseas study tours.

Job ready graduates - Deakin University has developed a set of employability skills or graduate attributes which describe the 'knowledge and understanding, skills and attitudes' that define a Deakin graduate.

Scholarships and Prizes - awarded by the Faculty of Business and Law for outstanding academic performance. In addition, the University also offers a number of scholarships and prizes.

Accelerated learning opportunities exist for high-achieving students. These include study outside of the normal semesters in summer and winter semesters or by taking a heavier study load. Speak to your student adviser to find out more.
